I hope you enjoyed the excitement of the Winter Olympic Games held here in Vancouver, Canada! Canada won a record number of Gold metals for any host country in history and for that we are all proud as if we'd won them ourselves. Interesting how competition and striving for perfection brings out the best in a country at all levels. Even my 86 year old Dad said he wished he was younger so that he could participate in the Olympics... in his youth he was a speed skater.
How does that relate to Tupperware?
Tupperware strives to be the best in its field too. Considered the Cadillac in plastic container solutions for your home, Tupperware has always been a green product designed to be used over and over again, both reducing our storage costs and reducing what ends up in the landfills.
We have a new Catalogue that is Staying Green. As with the previous Fall/Holiday/Winter edition, the Spring & Summer 2010 Catalog is printed in the U.S. by a print partner selected through EPA Climate Leaders, Energy Star and SmartWaySM Transport Programs. The paper supports well-managed forestry by meeting the strict environment and social requirements of the PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification), while the ink contains 27.3 percent renewable resources.
As well, the plastic bags that protect your Tupperware as it is being shipped from the factory to you are recyclable.
And just like the Olympics honour top athletes, Tupperware has been honoured for top designs. The Tupperware Product Design team received the prestigious Red Dot Award. From more than 11,000 entries from 60 nations, the team that designs Tupperware’s amazing products was named design team of the year in 2009.
No wonder Tupperware products are so great! They are winners all the way!
